The JATISmro system was created thanks to synergies between the two companies, both of which are part of the CSG Aerospace division of the industrial-technology group CSG. JOB AIR Technic is one of Europe's largest companies specializing in aircraft maintenance and repair (MRO). CS Soft primarily develops air traffic control software, but the company also includes a group of specialists who develop software that uses artificial intelligence.

"We have been developing JATISmro in close cooperation with JOB AIR Technic for about three years. It has now been deployed at the company for over a year and early data and experience show that it is enabling air maintenance companies to increase efficiency by up to ten percent. We don't have a detailed calculation yet, but even units of percent are generating savings of millions of dollars. Moreover, the system is constantly improving thanks to reinforcement learning, as the models are automatically trained every week on actual real data," says Lukáš Hefka, Head of the Department of AI at CS Soft.

The JATISmro software is a superstructure of the Quantum ERP system, which has been used by aviation maintenance companies for a long time. Thanks to AI models learned from a seven-year history of orders, the system can predict the amount of time needed for repairs that are likely to be carried out on a machine, based on both the type and age of the aircraft and its typical operating area determined by the history of work for the same operator. Using advanced AI algorithms, the system can identify a sequence of maintenance steps. In doing so, it takes into account the current configuration of the aircraft, the stage of the project, the availability of spare parts, the tools needed and many other limiting criteria. The system allocates human resources to ensure that each maintenance is as efficient as possible, and downtime is minimal.

"In developing the software, our primary focus was to streamline JOB AIR Technic's individual job scheduling, which was previously partially done manually in the Quantum system in the form of excel spreadsheets. The benefit of JATISmro as its functional superstructure lies primarily in the ability to predict the possible scope of maintenance, to ensure its efficiency, thus increasing revenue and reducing project costs while shortening the project execution time," enumerates Lukáš Hefka the main benefits of the innovation.

The benefits are mainly of a financial kind, both for customers and maintenance companies. From the side of JOB AIR Technic, they are associated with the elimination of inefficient staff time, reduction of aircraft maintenance time, and thus the possibility of carrying out more projects in the company's hangars. The reduction in maintenance time is also welcomed by customers, as they can use the machine sooner and it generates profits for them. At the same time, they get a better overview of the status of each project. Aircraft maintenance companies have always been committed to being flexible and working transparently with their customers. JATISmro is therefore a very valuable tool for maintenance companies in this regard.

Now that the software has been completed and tested at JOB AIR Technic, the next phase begins: its market launch. According to the negotiations that have already taken place, other aircraft maintenance companies may also be interested in it. CS Soft intends to supply it to other interested parties as a cloud solution. It allows implementation on any ERP system; it is not bound only to Quantum. "I am sure that thanks to the effective cooperation between CS Soft and JOB AIR Technic within our CSG Aerospace division, we have found a market space that will allow us to deliver the software to many other customers," adds Tomas Richtr, CEO of CS Soft.
